At the end of Feb I am doing a couple of Milk Cartons for a class. This is one of them. Once again looks pretty cool in real life. And yes once again I am fighting the kids to leave it alone and not eat the MM's!!!

Friendship Blooms

OK, now that this card is loaded.. would you believe that the colors I used were Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie and Elegant Eggplant. I really like this card, and it looks better in real life.

Wild about you

I am so ready for the new catty to come out!. I am on a countdown. When us demo's get it, myself and Lou are meeting up in Wanganui for the weekend for some R&R, shopping and to choose stamp sets we like out of the new catty... better start saving! This trip isn't until March... but hey the way the months speed by, it will be here before you know it!

Hitchdafellabella

The great thing about having wonderful friend (and downline) like Lou, is she has Bella stamps!!! This is the first time I have got to play with one of these stamps!!! Awesome.
I had a little cleanup and managed to find things, which made it easier to stamp. Lou also inspired me to use my twinkling H20's, which I have had for a year and never used!!! Wow how neat are they!!! Her dress has H20's gold on it, although you can't see it on the photo.

Reason to Smile

I have decided to make a pact with myself this year that anyone's birthday that I know, I will send them a card. I am normally hopeless and never send cards even to my own family.... which is pretty bad for a SU demo... but I will redeem myself this year... so if any of you wonderful readers want to receive a card on your birthday... email me or post your address on this site with month and date of your BD.
This card was made today (at work...shhhh) for a good friend whose BDay is on Thursday... Happy Birthday Tash

Farm Fever

I needed a quick card that I could whip together for a friend that had a operation yesterday. Nothing major, but I thought it would be a neat idea to send her a card, since I am notorious for not sending cards!!! I imagine it will be quite a surprise!!

To all my regular readers, yes I am still here LOL... have had a few emails asking if I am alright because I haven't posted anything lately.
I have been busy getting ready for card classes, and yes today I am off to NP to shop my bum off for my eldest daughter who seems to be growing like a mushroom... she's only about a head shorter than me... and she's only eight!!!!.
But tomorrow ...who knows... I might get time to make cards and post them on here???

Stem Silhouettes - double slider.. again!!

I didn't manage to do any stamping last night, but I did do this one a few nights ago.
I have told myself that I will do no more stamping until I tidy up the pigsty of a room I call my craft room!! So sorry ladies, I am a closet procrastinator (spelling??), so it might be a while until I post again!!! LOL. I will try to get motivated, but the beach is calling me and the girls!

Have been helping make wedding invites all day today, not sure if I have any enthusiasm to make cards tonight... will see how I go...

Fishy Friends - double slider

Now this is a better double slider than the first one further down my blog!!! I am just getting together ideas for classes... this is bound to be on my top ten list!!! (not that I have a list!!!)
I have 3 new stamp sets to play with tonight. Bee is going to a friends house to stay... hubby is at work on night shift, which leaves me and Cameron. It will be nice having one on one time with her with out her younger sister wanting all the attention!!!
I have a busy weekend helping with wedding invites, I will try to post a few more cards in the weekend... have a great couple of days

I had one of my good friends pop in yesterday, Trace M... so I put her on the spot, gave her the same cut card stock as me and told her to start stamping!!! Hers is on the left, mine on the right. Didn't she do well.

Farm Fever - NZSU Challenge

Anyway the challenge was to do anything with spots... as Trudi quoted.. nice and easy!!
I had decided to tidy my stamp room but got side tracked and made a card... It is dismal and raining outside, but as I type the girls have changed into their togs and are determined to go for swim... !!! Oh to be that age again!!!

Close as a memory

As I looked through the hundred and something cards that I have I am ashamed to admit that I own no sympathy stamps!! Thanks to one of my class ladies who has become a good friend, she lent me her stamp set. So I locked myself away in my stamp room and created this.

I think I have lost my creative mojo!!!.... apart from taking two trips to my auntie and uncle's whose son just had a tragic accident and lost his life, I have manged to do only two cards all day!!!

To those of you that check my blog time and time again... live life to the fullest and never have any regrets, for you never know whats lies around the corner.

Class dates

Just letting you all know that I have completed class dates for the next few months... if you have been reading my blog, live locally and would like to come to classes, send me an email and I will send you the dates and info.

This photo???... shame on me..... as a mother we tend to be behind the camera taking the photos... and lets face it, unless we have a supermodel body... who really likes getting there photo taken... in my case its up there with the dentist!!! My eldest daughter Cameron loves taking photos, so when she asked if she could take one of me and Bailee I cringed at the thought but did it for Cam. (pat on the back)...
When downloading this photo I discovered that this was the first photo I have had with Bee since she was about 3... which is pretty bad... but lucky for me one of my closest friends has a photography business... best I go visit her for a weekend!!!!! (her website is on my sites I watch)

Anyway... I'm off shopping tomorrow for clothes without whippersnappers at my ankles... just a bag carrier (hubby LOL)!! Have a good weekend!!

Long-Time Friend

Just enough time to download this blog before I head out for tea and say goodbye to my brother and sister in-law. They are off to catch a plane home tomorrow.
Here is a stamp set that I would personally not buy, but had to have a play. I will try to get home at a reasonable hour (I do have work tomorrow) and download the other card made from this set.

Stem Silhouettes

I was lucky enough to play with this set today (well for 5 mins, right at the end of the stamping day!!) And I now have a new Favorite set!!! In fact, as soon as I finished this card, I jumped on SU website and ordered it!
For anyone who is eyeing this set... my advice is get it!!!!!

Mini Pocket Book

I had Sharlene (my upline) from N.P here today having time out and stamping with me. Kids behaved themselves, and I managed to get this Mini Pocket Book finished (although it took me just about all day) I used Bud Basics, Big Blooms, DS paper Loves Me all out of Summer Mini. Looks better in "real life", photo doesn't do it justice.

I also stamped off the two images from "Long-Time Friend" out of Summer Mini (thanks Sharlene for bringing the set down). Now those of you who know me, know that this isn't the normal stamp set I would go for... so it is a big challenge for me... watch this space!!!
