Clipboard

I couldn't wait to share this creation... the moment I saw the DS paper in my order last week I knew what I was going to use it on... the clipboard even has a magnet on the back so that you can put it on the fridge. What do you think??

Must run.. have today off so am going to make the most of it before I pick the kids up from school.

Have a great Queens birthday weekend.

Stamp room revisited!!!!

Well I had to show these pic's. My handy hubby put up 4 shelves for me in a bid to get the room half way clean of clutter... me... I just think it begs for more... I am sure there are spare places left on that shelf.!! The second photo is the spare stamp table for when Marise comes to stamp!!!! although she did say she would rent it out to anyone else who wants to use it!!! LOL

Garden Whimsy

I knew I had to have this set as soon as saw it, and as a bonus... it was a breeze to come up with an idea for it!!! Normally I sit with a mind blank for a few minutes!!!

RAK from the U.S

The joys of stamping is that you get to meet people and make friends from far away places. I have just got home from work and found this waiting for me. What a lovely surprise from LeAnne. I love her cards and stalk her blog at least 4 times a week. Go check her out. Thanks LeAnne.

Black Out - Stamping by candlelight

Yep you read right!!! Half an hour before class started...massive blackout. I really didn't think anyone would be crazy enough to come around for a stamp class, but 5 dedicated stampers from Hawera turned up on my doorstep. Lucky for us the power turned on about 5 minutes into starting!!!

We made a card and an explosion box using "Like it a Latte", and filled it with drinking chocolate and chocolates (that I managed to hide from kids and hubby!!!) although I am sure more went into mouths than into the box!!!

Ahoy Matey

This is my latest SU purchase. I wouldn't normally get a "boy" set because I have two girls, but it feels great going outside your comfort zone. I have also used DS Paper "Jersey Shore"

I am sending this card to little Angus.. Lou's boy. He's a bit young to appreciate handmade cards but I know his mum will love it!

Stampin' Up! DS Paper - Outlaw

Well when I saw all the yummy SU Designer Series paper I just had to have it all, but this has to be one of my favorites. I must admit, this is the first time I have done a scrapbook page with SU paper... I normally use Crate, or K & Co but I think I am pretty much hooked on the fab designs and quality. And as an added bonus... it is only $13.95 for 12 double sided sheets!!!. If you want to know more or have a look, contact me on my email.

Great mind's think alike!!! I have just checked out Lou's blog and she has posted today her very first layout using SU paper using the exact same Outlaw paper... so go check her out and see how versatile this paper is... great job Lou..

Maybe I should offer blog candy for anyone who can spot it!! LOL.

Palette o' Prints

Having the whole weekend to myself, after cutting out class cards and workshops I decided to try something a bit different and use the palette o' prints designer paper in a chipboard album. Wow for a first attempt I am quite proud... hence all the photos!!!! What fun.. ladies this will be a definite in a class one day!

My cousin Marise has also done one... and yes it has her babies on it.... poodles!!! For all you overseas visiters... Marise is a poodle lover and breeds them, whereas I am a Burmese cat lover!!, and would have more than two if I could!!

I will get photos of Marise's in the next couple days as she has used all SU product as well.

RAK's

First before I post any of my own creations I have two RAK's to show both from two Demo's in NP.

The Choc.Chip card (for non SU people out there... brown card) is from Sharlene and the other pretty card is from Trudi. Thanks ladies for your support through my dad's illness. You can find them and other NZ Demo sites on here

Oh So Lovely - Thankyou card to you all

Hello again, I wanted to put this card on this post to thank everyone who lives around me who has offered to look after kids etc.. while I have been traveling to New Plymouth everyday to see my dad in ICU.

Since joining Stampin' Up! I have made some awesome friends. The friendships that have grown out of sharing something I love doing in classes and workshops have been amazing. I thank you all.

On another note.. my Upline has reminded me yesterday, that I may not have shared the news that at Brisbane SU convention held a couple weeks ago it was announced that yours truly (yes me!!!) was the 10th top demo in NZ. Yaaah.

Anyway, enough rambling, have to go and try to catch up on baking for kids and housework.
