Set Sail - Cased cards

I needed a technique for a class today and because I have been going a bit stale in the SU department I cased these two cards from Lori on Splitcoast Stampers. I did change the Bronco stamp she used and used Set Sail instead - 3 days to go from new catty orders... yeeha!!

5 Minute Cards

Here are a couple 5 minute cards I whipped up. Not SU I know.... just waiting to order my big stash then the drought will be over.!!!! Although in my defense the background on both cards is from Scribble This set... one of my favorite sets of all time

This is one of the scrapbook pages I done while away with Lou... ... Big thanks to Lou for making me add a space to do my writing in..(which I hate doing, hence why it's still blank!!) I love these photos... they are Bailee's personality to a tee.

Bundle of Joy

I know I haven't posted for a few days... well not SU cards anyway! The guilts were getting to me.. so here is a couple cards that I put together (rather fastley ... if that is even a word!). Not the best of photos, I also have velum over the stamped image, that doesnt help... but as always (and you hear this in most blogs) it looks great in real life!

My Easter weekend away.... awesome, although I am slightly jaded now. Thursday night had a wonderful friend who never stops talking from Canada come and stay (sorry Mary) late night. Friday met up with Lou in Wanganui, stamped and scrapbooked another late night but well worth it... would have had more sleep if the idoits next door at motel didnt party. Saturday - stayed with a long time friend Janine (check out eyephoto at side of blog), watched some chick flicks another late night!!! And last but not least.. Sunday and Monday night... hubby on night shift... don't sleep well when he's not here... hence I am off to bed very soon!!

Last High Hopes

Thought I would quickly load this on blog before I take off out the door... Bailee and I are off on a road trip and meeting SU Demo Lou half way (well ... she does have a little further than me to drive!!). We are staying the night in Wanganui...

Agenda for this afternoon / night... stamp... drawl over new catty... go out for tea.... stamp... have some bubbles..... (thought to myself... mmm chocolate would be good too!!)... oh and did I mention stamp!!!!.

Since I can't take my whole craft room, I will be limited to what I can do... but I promise to share what goodies I make.

Yep... its here!!!!!

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue 2008/2009 is now in my hot little hands...

Heaps of cool things, new stamp sets, new ribbon, Pretties kit... and oh so cool new "In Colors"!!!!.....

and I managed to slip it in my bag to work today to browse over again and again... I am ashamed to say that even my up- line Sharlene gasped when she heard the total of my wishlist!!!! (sigh)...

Anyway, I have plenty to go around, flick me an email if you would like me to hold you a copy.

High Hopes / SU

Sorry folks.. another high hopes stamp.. but I have managed to add a SU stamp... Simple Somethings (across the bottom) and of course as always all cardstock is done with SU card

High Hopes

Now, before my readers go into shock... yes I know that I have an exclusive SU blog.... but... my wonderful friend Lou saved me from boredom and sent me some stamped off cute High Hopes stamps. I have seen these on other SBS6 sister blogs and look great ...soooo I thought I would give it a crack and branch outside SU... just for a couple days until I get my new catty and order new SU stamp sets!!! I promise!!!!

My 8yr daughter also had a play... So for this afternoon I was in my craft room (with earplugs) .. 8yr old was in hers stamping...(music blasting) and 5yr old was in her room not stamping... just being louder...(music blasting in competition trying to get one up on her 8yr old sister... oh the harmony of it all..... poor neighbours!! Did I mention that hubby was trying to sleep... he has night shift tonight!

Birthday goodies

Hello all... I have been away for a couple of days for work in Hamilton... arrived back home to kisses and cuddles (from the children) of course they did want the pressie each that I picked up for them. (Yes I managed to get some shopping in amongst the training!!)
Anyway... imagine how great it was to come home dog tired and seeing a birthday card (handmade at that!!) from my good friend Trace M, (blue, burgandy and olive card), and 3 cards and stamped goodies from SBS6 sister/downline and all round great chick Lou. Thanks ladies.

Joani's Challenge

I made this card for Joani's challenge while I had half hour spare before I had to go to Jamies wedding.... Bride was beautiful, wedding was emotional, First time in a long time me and hubby got to have a night out without the kids. Yeehaa.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, this weekend will be no different, with a wedding, stacking wood for winter, crisscross box class, ... thank goodness I have Taranaki Ann. off work, I might be able to have some me time and do some stamping or even attempt a scrapbook layout.

Here is another of my neglected stamp sets which collects dust from not being used. This Crisscross box uses Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss and Pixie Pink

Floral Background stamp

This would have to be one of my first flops!!! I had an idea, only had about 5 mins to do it... and this is the result!!! See I do have bad stamping days!!! LOL.
The general idea of stamping and embossing in copper was good, but the colors just don't do it for me.
On a brighter note... my great friend Lou is sending down some stamped images of stamps I haven't got... my poor mailman... stalker comes to mind....waiting for them to arrive!!!
