Well the heading certainly doesnt match the card!! Grrrr... I have made three cards today and all are missing something!?! I have just not got my normal flair attached to any of the three cards, so I prolong your missery with one card and share the other with you tomorrow!!!!

The Pixie Cottage

I found this site The Pixie Cottage a few days ago and joined in on their challenge. Now I see they are having Blog Candy, head over and take a look... it's a hard choice, they are all so cute, but the girl and sled is so sweet...

Also a big thank you to Susan from Canada. It was so nice to come home from work and find a RAK with goodies waiting for me. It just made my day!

Wonderful reason to celebrate

I started this card a few days ago, following a sketch for "Anyone for Anya" but not thinking put on non Anya stamp!!! So made up card and added a celebrate stamp to the mix and hey presto, a challenge card for The Pixie Cottage!!!

Strawberries and Lime

yum yum yum summer's coming!!! I bought 2 punnets of strawberries yesterday and have managed to hide them from the kids!!! we will have them with ice cream tonight!
Had a BBQ last night and Donna bought around 5 boys!!!! My two girls were in seventh heaven!!!

Right, onto this challenge card... I decided to join in on Magnolia Down Under for the first time. I have distressed the edges to fit in with the challenge.. doesn't this card have a real summery feel to it!!.

I decided to make a box up last night and decorate the front. I will do baking this morning to fill, and give to one of my friends who's 2 children have chickenpox, unfortunately, she has got it and so has her hubby!!! SO having 3 kids to look after must be a nightmare when you aren't feeling to great yourself.

A Spoon Full of Sugar

Finally got a chance to make a card... first for the week! I used the left over Kaiser paper I had from previous post, a Pollycraft digi image, and A Spoon Full of Sugar sketch to complete the card. I'm loving the colours in this card!

SB Christmas layout

Here's what I did at class the other night, while Viv ran her card class and Marise ran her SB layout class. I got to sit at a table with Denise and design this layout for next months Big Bang Christmas class. I would hate to count how many pearls I used.... and I had fun using all that pink glitter.

Remember when????

Remember when I posted this as a sneak peak a few (oh...ok.... 4 months) ago?? Well I hadn't finished it then and I have finally picked it up again today and finished it!!!
This year under the Christmas tree for the girls is going to be a altered case each filled with stamped images, feathers, buttons, prima flowers, scissors, tape, and anything else I throw in between now and then. I am hoping this might keep them away from my stash!!!
I will be starting Bee's in the next few days (or weeks), so will show you all when hers is finished (don't hold your breathe!! LOL). Hers is going to be a bit more bright and fun!

Cuddles leaves

This is the freebie image over at SNR for Ildi Co Digital Images. Its called Cuddles leaves. I followed a sketch from Get Sketchy.
I have had a lovely peaceful night and morning without my kids.... Denise rang and asked if the girls would like to stay the night with her and her kids who are all around the same age.... From reports I have had so far they didn't settle until midnight.... so although hubby and I had a lovely break, Denise is going to need match sticks to hold her eyelids open at tonight's class!!!

Medal Test

I wanted to share these photos of Cameron. She has now been dancing for 6 years and has just had her Medal test on Friday for junior gold. I think its the makeup she gets to wear that she loves!!! but its a buggar to get off!!!

Finally!!!!

Finally got to play with my new Fall stamps. I have another 4 more stamps coming from Funky Kits.... not sure when I will get a chance to use them,.... but gotta have them.
This card was fun to make, a lot of cutting..... it fits in perfectly with Saturday Challenge and Stampin' for the Weekend. And I finally got to use my yummy Create paper that I have been sitting on. Ahhh what bliss.

Vellum fairy

Imagine my glee when work sent me home saying I must have a 24 hour break since today was day eight at work. Oh how sad!!! sent home, no kids, no hubby, ahhh can you here the silence.... phone rings.... school.... Cameron in sick bay... BUGGAR.

Anyhoo... here's a card for Sketch Saturday. I don't normally do cards this size, but since I needed something for class I decided this card could be one they did!

Sunday Blues

Even though the weather is beautiful outside, I just can't motivate myself to getting out there today.. I did however come home from work and told the kids to tidy up "their lounge" and in half and hour if anything was on the ground I was throwing in the rubbish bin..... man I am going to be a bitch to live with this coming week!!!

Anyhoo, here's a card I slapped up for Allsorts challenge and Get Sketchy (I figure combining them is the only way to keep up this week!!! LOL)

Not even a mouse

So how cute is this image "not even a mouse" from Mo's digital images.
I had a teeny bit of trouble with my copics bleeding the black line for some unknown reason, even SU blender pens did the same..grrrrr So brainwave... print out on vellum and colour on backside of paper!!!!

See... I knew I was going to be a bit slow this weekend, imagine what I'll be like by the end of working 12 straight days!!!! (should I mention in between that I have classes!!!) Poor Viv, Denise, and Marise!!! They might be better off without me!!!!

New Release

Hi all, here is a card with the new release digi image from Doodle Palace on it. She's super sweet and I love that you can add colour to her eyes.
Things haven't slowed down at work, in fact I am working sat and sun... yep 12 days in a row... my arse is going to be dragging... so bear with me, it may take a couple days for me to get time to do another card to show you.

Sketch Saturday

Lucky I did this challenge a few days ago. I have to say that work has never been this crazy before.. whats worse is that it looks likely that I will have to go into work on Sat and Sun .. buggar there goes my relaxing time. Hopefully things will get better this side of Christmas. Anyhow, here is the card I made following a sketch and "pets" theme from Sketch Saturday.
My new Fall stamps have arrived from funky Kits and I haven't even had a chance to play yet... bummer.

AT Allsorts this week we had to use Kraft in out card.... this image was kindly given to me from Denise. I enjoyed using it but man is it big!!!!

Shout out to a talanted SU lady

Ok, so here's another card to share with you all today. It's for WOJ challenge, in which I had to follow a sketch.... and yes I broke out and cut up my yummy Prima flutter branch..

Now.... since I have taken today off work and its yucky outside, I have been catching up on some blog hopping. I have to say that this lady should be an inspiration to all those SU demos out there.
Even though I started out as a SU demo and found it as a good base, I find SU very limited and have moved on from it, but Amy seems to have found her groove and pumps out beautiful cards every time. So for all those SU ladies that visit my blog... pop over and visit Amy's, she has made cards that are jaw dropping fantastic.

Hope you weather outside is better than it is here!!! still raining on and off, but at least not as cold as yesterday.

Truly Scrumptious

I know, I know..... I have vacuumed the house... that is the same as tidying the house in my books... and I haven't baked with the girls because they have friends over, and I figure the marigolds can wait another day!
This card followed a sketch over at Truly Scrumptious and also had to have doodling in it, since I am fast becoming the doodling queen, that wasn't hard! LOL

Prima Goodness

Just thought I would share this stash that arrived last week from Crafty Tart that's still all in its box that it arrived in! . Sadly I have been so busy at work that I come home and haven't the energy to create anything!
Today isn't looking promising either, I told the girls we would do some baking, then have to tidy house, and really want to buy some marigolds to plant while the weather is nice outside.
Hopefully I will be back at the end of the day to share something...anything!!

I have just noticed that the last three posts include a digi image.... see how great they are!!! I did this card following a sketch from CLP. What a fantastic sketch Chelsea! and have used Cuddles Kuma Morning from Ildi Co Digital images, where I am a guest designer for the month of October. Yeehaa!!!!
I have decided that I really like doing the vintage look!!!! What look do you like doing??
