Imagine 7 girls opening up an envelope that weighs a ton (because of all the embellishments) to find this as an invite! The ones that I watched open it were pretty amazed... ( and their mums!) I know of a few that are even putting them up on their walls! Funny! I has taken me 3-4 days to colour them all in then another 3 days to cut out the dies for buntings and put everything together! Only problem now is I have to put my thinking cap on and decorate the house for this sleepover..mmm what would you do for 12/13 year olds??? Any ideas most welcome.
All 7 cards are different.... I have put the other 6 below Recipe.

Beautiful card Tracy, love the image and fabulous colouring, love all the details too, really pretty...now my ignorance shows..whats SENZ??..I didn't even realise the craft fair was on in Brisbane when I booked to go...I found out by accident...and had a blast..may have to go next year, and take more pennies.

Tracy, your Queen of Hearts looks stunning on all of these fabulously textured invitations. It's not surprising that the recipients should want to permanently display your beautiful art work to look at again and again. So glad to see your entry at the Crafts and Me Stamps' digi team's Pearls and Roses challenge. Hugz, ~ Rose

Not sure what the tweens would like...but get yourself some ear muffs ROFL.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes! These are really gorgeous! You have coloured her so beautifully. Also you have embellished your cards to perfection. Love them all. Hugs...Mona
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Just look at all of these beyond words GORGEOUS Creations! I'm totally in love with the color combinations. Your coloring is absolutely outstanding and I can't even imagine how time consuming and labor intensive these treasures were to make!
ReplyDeleteYou could definitely make a Happy Birthday banner to coordinate with your cards color scheme! Then I would pull the same colors out for balloons with matching ribbons. You could have a flower arrangement with pink, blue and cream carnations.
Are you planning on making your party favors too?
That would be super fun. You could make pretty little gift bags to match and fill them with lip gloss, nail polish and emery boards.
Ok, I've rambled on enough! It's been a real treat!
I hope that you have a great weekend!

Nail art for the sleep over? Popcorn and dvds? Cards are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgous invites. It must have made the girls feel so special to receive them.
ReplyDeleteHow about letting them try their hands at some crafting at the sleepover.
You could have ready cut pieces and some embellishments you know you'll never use but just won't throw out. Then let them make a bookmark or something that they can take home.
Lovely cards! They must have taken ages!! Where do you find the time?! :) I am now a follower too. Xx Jo @ T4T

Your invites are awesome!! I love that they are all different, very cool!! As for a sleepover, I just had one for my niece that turned 13 and we had a spa theme! The girls had manicures, pedicures and facials (they made their own facials with chocolate, bananas, etc - they loved it!!) Good luck!!!
ReplyDeletethey are amazing!!!!!!!!!! Just love them and would love to receive such an invite - it would be straight on my wall.
ReplyDeleteAs for sleepover ideas....
baking
nail painting
temporary tattoos
crafting
all things I can't do with my 13 year old son!!
have a great time
