Southern Girls - Lollyrot

Hi All.... well today was a day best spent in the craft room having a tidy up and I even managed to get a few projects done before I tried to break a plastic spool (to go in bin).. with my bare hands thinking to myself... this was probably not a bright idea.. and yup... it broke and slashed my finger open.. just about to the bone... talk about turning green!!!!... ahhhh the things we do, in hindsight I could have just put it in bin... it would have fit... what was I thinking?
Anyhoo... who loves Lollyrot images???? We are lucky enough to have Lollyrot join us this year as a  sponsor this fortnight at Southern Girls Challenges... I think these designs are stunning. If you like what you see.. head over to Southern Girls and play along, who knows.. you might be a winner!!!

Artfull Crafts - Summer Breeze

Hello, today I want to show you a few cards using this months release Summer Breeze from Kaisercraft, that Liz from Artfull Crafts sent me to play with. I had such fun making these cards. First off is the "z card". I don't know why I don't use this type of fold more often. Layering the front panels with the die cuts was so easy to put together.

Closed, tied with a ribbon. Not sure I like the ribbon I used.. but hey, I can get it right next time.

I spent a hour cutting out flowers from one of the Summer Breeze papers.

And lastly, I have to put my copics to use and colour an image. I also used new release Marianne Design Swirls & Leaves CR1245

If you are lucky enough to live near Liz and Artfull Crafts, these two and 6 other cards will be at the shop by the end of the week.

Happy crafting!

Artfull Crafts - Remember Me Mini book + 3 cards

Hello Tracy here again to show you another selection of "my favourite things" for our monthly challenge at Artfull Crafts. This post will be a bit photo heavy, but there's lots to see.

So first is my little chipboard Mini book, closed, which I covered in Remember Me paper from Kaisercraft. The edges have Distress crackle paint around them and also Distress Ink to age it a bit.

So here we have it open. The inside has also been covered and distressed

And now for the 3 cards inside the mini book using all Remember Me elements on them.

So for my cards I have used Remember Me  paperRemember Me Collectables, Remember Me sticker sheet, Copics, Distress Crackle Paint - Picket Fence, Distress Ink - Vintage Photo, and Aleene's Tacky Glue

Happy crafting!

Artfull Crafts - Elegance cards

Hello there, I have a few cards for our monthly challenge at Artfull Crafts, the theme is "My favourite things" Well one of my favourite things.. that is an essential in my craft room is my beloved copics. I don't think I would be a card maker without these... I have used other mediums, but always go back to my trusty copic friends. So here is a close up of the lovely couple.

Below is the whole card. What a great collection "Elegance" is from Kaisercraft. Such wonderful colours.

Here is another quick card I have made with Elegance, but doesn't involve a stamped image, quick and easy.

So for my cards I have used Elegance paper, Elegance Collectables, Elegance sticker sheet, Copics, and image from Mo Manning

Happy crafting!
