Witches Moon

I so love this bag!!!! Halloween isn't big over here in NZ, so not that fussed on doing these type of images, but I did have a lot of fun doing this!!! This Sassy Cheryls image is called Witches Moon... isn't she cool! We have a cool challenge for you ladies this week at Sassy Cheryls challenge blogspot... Fall / Halloween. Reading is Fun - Bookmarks

This was fun and frustrating to make!!! Trying to get the beads onto thick twine was defiantly trying my patience! But however, I am happy with the end result and Bee loves her new bookmark too! Shes such a big reader at 7yrs!

So yes ... this weeks challenge at Karen's Doodles is make a bookmark. "Reading is Fun" is one of the many cool digis Karen has drawn.

I also used copic colours I would normally steer clear of... very pastel !!!

Think Pink!! Tickled Pink!

Well judging this card I would say more grey and pink!. This fortnight challenge at Mad for Markers is Colouring pink objects. So of course I had to try and make Lilith all sweet in a pink dress.. but clearly she isn't happy!.. Rather sulky looking... mmm reminds me of my daughter... anyway, enough rambling. As always I am amazed by the talent of Sammi's DT and are stunned that I am on it! Can't wait to see who's next!

Sneak Peak - Nichola

I had to ink this girl up especially for a guy down at work Matt B... he's a builder I met a few years ago. His lovely wife checks up on my occasionally and apparently thought my last Kenny K card was rather saucy!!!! So if you are reading this... this is for you!!!!

I have covered a money tin. In this money tin I am putting all my loose change in and when it comes time for my holiday next year I am going to call this my coffee money!!!! Card for Cam

This card took me no longer than 10 mins to whip up. I had to ring Cameron and let her know what her results were. She was upset to say the least, and was hoping for higher marks. She got Very Highly recommended, which basically she scored marks between 80-84%. Some how I think my little dancer will throw in the towel. So I wanted to make this card for her and tell her how proud I am of her.

Wags n Whiskers - Triple Play

How exciting is this! my very first Wags n Whiskers challenge as a DT member and not a player. This week the challenge is "Triple Play", so it could be 3 images, 3 embossing folders used etc...

Vintage fun

Here's a card I made for Mad for Markers. I decided to do a vintage card using my distress inks around the outside and colouring image with copics in soft pinks. For her voil overlay I have used white Perfect Pearl, which when overlayed over a light coloured copic seems to really shimmer and look white... although you cant even notice through my picture! I love how this card turned out.

Devilish Donna

Spent all day in a meeting today and couldn't wait to have a bit of "me" time in the craft room! I wanted to colour in one of the images I got from Kenny K's Gothic Angelz.

Boarder Control!!!

Who in NZ watches Boarder Control? The girls and I watch it every Monday and see all those packages that get xrayed and if it looks suspect then gets opened for inspection!!
Well, my package arrived today from Wild Orchid crafts.... and guess what... it had a strip across it with "MAF- Officially opened by MAF biosecurity New Zealand"! I was so excited, I had to show the girls and explain to them that this is what happens to all those packages on TV! Even they were impressed that paper flowers and stick on pearls had been looked at!
I know... I need to get a life!... but do you like my new stash????

The April Fool

Hi there! wasn't last weeks challenge fun! Great to see you all play along!

This week we want to see an altered notebook. I have picked up a Sassy Cheryl image called The April Fool. This notebook is actually my daughters phone book, so she got to help and pick what embell's she wanted it (hence why it is pretty simple!! guess she doest take after me where I think more is better!! LOL)

Angry Ballerina

With dance exams less than a week away, I have dancing shoes to polish, hair spray to get (god help me if there is one hair out of place!!). I will be breathing a sigh of relieve when they are over.
