Nasty Virus

Yep I havent posted for a while.... trying to get over xmas and along comes a nasty virus that has knocked Bee for a 6!!! High temps, throwing up, sore throat and headache. This picture is her xmas day at 4pm (should have known something was up)... and has gone downhill since.... been to doctors (yeah... just my idea of fun lining up for a 2-3 hour wait.. ) and are now just starting to get her right again in time for new years.
As I type this she has her head over the toilet.. so best I go and do the mummy thing!!! Just wanted you all to know that I am still here!!

Baby Bag and tissue

I had an hour free last night so decided to make this cute gift bag for my friend Jamie who is expecting her baby mid Jan.
Will most likely be my last post of the year... so you all have a great Christmas with your family and friends, will see you on the other side!!
Oh and a big "hi" to Nic who has told me she is addicted to my blog!!! (If only she knew how to leave a comment!!)

Push bike pub crawl and some quickies

Here are two more containers I wanted to get out of my room. I have a few more and are going to do them up and put them aside for any unsuspecting visitors over Christmas.

Oh and for you nz who are reading this.. the push bike pub crawl in little old Hawera was the funniest thing.. the girls (well Bailee anyway!!) was rolling on the floor laughing watching all the guys dressed up in tutus, tights and anything else you can think off!!! You should come join the fun next year, I have the prime position where we can watch!!!

Well it's 7:30 in the morning and what better time to update my blog? I have a busy weekend again with dance concerts, birthdays, Christmas treats to make. So this is more than likely the only post that will be happening this weekend. Hopefully might get some me time tonight!!

It's a gloomy afternoon here, I have just finished work and have no real energy to do anything.. Lucky for me I had this ready to post... It is a class I plan on doing next year... yep, next year will come around soon enough!!!

Colour Throwdown 22

knocked up this card last night with a little help from Bee, putting in all those eyelets fro me... yes it would have been faster for me to do it, but it was easier than letting her loose in my craftroom!! Another busy weekend.... where does the time fly?? Once again I have done another card using CTD colours on my other blog.

Bag in a box

Havent been around lately to do any stamping/scrapping. So this will have to do. I finally got around to trying one of these babies after seeing it on all the other NZSU blogs (hi ladies)!! Its from paper out of the new mini that you can now order from as of the 1st of this month... so get those Chrissy orders in to your local demo so you can have something crafty for under your tree!!! (If you have a great demo, she might even wrap it for you!!)

I have been busy working on classes for next year, making 4 (yes 4) xmas cakes, being taxi driver to Cam for her dancing (which is 3 times next week) and also not forgetting Bailee who is playing touch rugby (well if thats what you call it!!) at least she is now tagging the opposite team instead of her own team. LOL!!!

Sorry Nic, she swore me to never show these photos, but I guess she will be so busy with Flynn that she will never see this post!! The flower on the new DS Paper out of the mini just screamed to me to be cut out... easy, simple, and fast layout!

Colour Throwdown 20

Wow can you beleive that the lovely ladies at Colour Throwdown have been going for 20 weeks so far!!??
I was going to use one of my flowery Bella stamps for this one but decided to ink up this stamp for the first time. Loved these earthy colours.

Exciting news yesterday.. I am an aunty. My brother Stefan and Nic had their first baby yesterday. Flynn. Pity they dont live closer. Would love to have a cuddle.

Colour throwdown challenge

Well, anyone who knows me and my cards can tell you that these aren't my colours!!! My first attempt was with A Happy Heart from the new Summer Mini. Yuk.... too plain. Sooo... take two.. For Father, (sigh), thats better. The reflection on the boot is from cyrstal effects.

Time out

Well I have just had 3 wonderful days at the beach, no kids, no hubby, a very good friend, junk food, all around silence.. apart from the ocean just down the cliff right outside the decking (and here are the views to proof it!!!

I didnt realise how much I needed to get away until I was there. Sadly, I didnt have my new mini stamps, paper, punches to play with but managed to do 20 layouts, a wall hanging from a kit and a chipboard book for my mother... I promise I will play around with my new SU stuff which arrived while I was away GRRRR! and show you some great cards...... in the meantime, flick over to my other blog and see the first of my creations from my trip away.

Just a quick card to show.. not something that I like, but have been busy with organising classes, bday parties etc..... Cant wait until I get new goodies out of new mini and start creating with yummy new paper and stamps.

Horsing Around

Here is a project that I did a while back, I had and still have a love for horses. The first picture is of the first horse I used to exercise "prince", second one is of my brother and prince.
Third pic is my when I used to be a trackwork rider in racing stables in Te Rapa, with"Blue" (getting ready to load up for NP races). Forth is of me and Marise (she used to be horse mad,,, now she is poodle mad!!), then the last two are of me girls on ponies from last year... (must run in the family!!) Funny thing is that my Hubby is allergic to horses!!! Buggar.
Project is done of mainly SU product.
