Prima Marketing - Free download

Morning all, hope you are all doing ok and staying safe x
Today I wanted to share my latest colouring which is free over at Art Philosopy - Prima Marketing
They have a book of beautuful images that you can look at and download.

As always I pick out my paper I want to use and lay first layers of copics down using two colours

I then use my pencils to darken any highlights. I find this part extremely relaxing.
I then proceeded to colour the hair the same way.

Once I was happy I then picked out some extra elements I wanted on the card and stuck them all together

Colour Blast by Bee Arty - Love You Card

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing my very first post for Bee Arty.
Over the months I hope to share many more cards, tags and Art Journal pages

But for today I'm here to show you my "Love You" card.

After picking out Floral Delights 2 set which is such a versatile set and a fussy cutters dream, I then wanted a background stamp so choose Meridian

After stamping out 3 different size flowers with Stazon on watercolour paper I was time to pick out my Shimmer Dust colours. As I have never used these before I decided to do each size flower a different shade of blue and wanted to see how they reacted adding the Green Paris colour as a highlight.

While my flowers were drying I used a dry paint brush to tap dry Shimmer Dusts Peacock, Colbalt and Paris onto some water colour paper. I then sprayed some water onto card and to activate colours and used heat gun to dry.
Once I was happy I stamped a strip of circles from the Meridian stamp set and used Paris and Peacock shimmer dusts to darken some of the circles to make them stand out
I also wet a little bit of Midnight shimmer dust so I could go around the edges of the card

And finally after fussy cutting all the flowers, placing them on the card abd cutting out the words "love You" from Mantras Untangle paper I have a card!

My verdict on the Shimmer Dusts as a first time user.... Love them!
They blend lovely together and a lot goes a long way. I'm looking forward to using these on more projects.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Birthday card

Day 1 of lockdown
Day 2 of working from home
Still finding it a little hard getting into "work mode"
I swear I should be working in a craft shop... I would get soooo much done at home!
This lovely image is from Norma J Burnell called Dreamer

She's beautiful. I think this may be the second time I have coloured her up

Hope everyone is staying safe in this crappy time

Krafters Cart - Relax Card

Hi all, well amid all the crazy going on in the world I do 4 things, work, eat, create and sleep, not necessarily in that order!

My lovely partner decided to by me some watercolour pens a while ago, Ive never heard of the brand, nor do I know where he bought them from, but they have a great range and easy to use.

Anyone who knows me also knows I have a stash of stamps I have never used... so since Im not out joining the crowds in the supermarkets, I decided stamp up a couple Katzelkraft stamps called Frogs and the leaf is out of the set called Carte Postale.

You can purchase them at Krafters Cart

Bowbo's Flower

Morning all. Quick post today, have to clean up upside after the gale force winds we had here yesterday!
I have had this image called Bowbo's Flower coloured for a while now, so decided it was time to make him into a card. He was coloured with copics and and distress inks. I used random card laying around to make the card, which is a bit backwards for me as I like to choose the paper before colouring.
You can find the image here at Colour of Love

Colour of Love - Future King

Afternoon crafty people. Came home today from work and had the urge to make this card.
We are in our summer over here in NZ and it feels more like winter outside, so whats a girl to do... grab a hot chocolate and create!
My image today is from Colour of Love called Future King
After picking out paper (which I always do first before any project I start), I coloured with copics to match, distressed all the edges and played around with a layout before sticking all together.
Short and sweet today
Happy crafting
