GD for Digital Delights

A while ago I was asked to make a card for Digital Delights. Since Christmas is over... well making Christmas cards that is, I decided to start on some Valentines cards. This Digital Delights image is called Love Birds. I have noticed on a few of the blogs that I stalk  "birds" are making a comeback for Valentines Day cards. Speaking of birds... one of my hunter Burmese cats decided to catch a couple sparrows today.... guess who's bed he put them under... yep Miss 9yr old's eeeeewww she was not impressed!

OK, so I haven't posted anything for a few days... yep I have been over indulging in food, relaxing and reading a really good book... although I have had a chance to make a couple cards for next year!! Anyhoo... this image is from Tiddly Inks. This cutie is called "Poppy". Isn't she bright and summery.. a bit like outside at the moment..sooo hot and muggy!

OK, so here is a quick, nice and easy card today using an image from Tiddly Inks. This cutie is called "Little So and so". I wanted a card that didn't have any "fuss" on it, because I am giving this card to a 3yr old boy.
This may be just about the last card I will get on here before Christmas, as I still have baking, wrapping and organising to do!!! So if I don't get back to blogland... have a very Merry Christmas, if you are driving anywhere, take care on the roads, if you are staying home like me, enjoy! Ok, so here I am back again, the rain has stopped and it's sunny as outside... and what am I doing??? yep playing! This is a newish image from Delicious Doodles called Holly Fairy. Oh and while I'm posting a DD image, don't forget our challenge this fortnight is "X Travagant Xmas - go overboard with your Xmas embellies".
Well I have finally iced the Christmas cakes, and I even managed to take the girls and their friends to Puss in Boots at the movies! Man.. I don't know what prices are like over on your side of the world, but it cost me about $90nz to get 4 kids and me into the movies! WOW.

I made this card up a while ago with an image I won over at Tickled Pink. I am going to hide this card in a special place and give it to my daughter when she competes in her very first skating comp next year.

Hello!! well only one day to work and then roll on the weekend. This must be the first weekend in a long time that I haven't got anything planned! Fingers crossed it rains.. or I may have to go out in the garden.. talking about garden.. I picked my first strawberry of the season about 10 minutes ago... and quickly shoved it in my mouth before the kids seen!! LOL Don't worry.. I'm not that mean.. we are going to be spoilt this year, the strawberry plants are loaded.
