copic colouring!!!

What a gloomy day.. theres just nothing for it other than stamping. Although I am not my normal rip shit and bust mood.. this card took about 4 hours!!!!! Frustrating!!!!

Thought I would also add a picture of my two cats naughty Tazzy and Charlie... oh what its like to be a cat!! Tazz is in the "Cat box" today... she swatted Tash's little girl in the face... she is now sporting three cat claw marks just under her eye.... nasty!!
Well I guess I might just spend the rest of the day just copic colouring like a 5 yr old... not in the mood for making cards

Mini Pizza box

I made this yesterday for part of a set for an up coming class and it fits in perfectly for Secret Crafter Challenge which called for pretty packaging. Inside I am going to fill with flowers for a RAK.

free hand doodles

I have a habit at the moment, if I think a card is boring or is missing something... I just doodle around the edges. I dont know if you all think this looks good, but it makes me feel better about the cards I do!
This card I made today for the Friday Sketchers.
Right.. I had better get hopping... I have to go out to the hall in half hour to set up for class.... nothing better than leaving everything till the last moment!!

Rain, Snow, Shine

Yep my new Miss Anya's have arrived.. 3 hours ago to be exact... so of course I had to ink them up and use "Shine" in Stampin for the Weekend challenge that was making a project.. either a wallet card or pocket card. Here I have made a wallet card that holds my "Addicted to Paper" business card. I think this would make a lovely gift for some lucky person with a voucher in it.

WOJ challenge

I am sitting here at the moment with Marise using my copics... getting her hooked (SHHHH). So I whipped up this card following the sketch over at WOJ. I might have a quiet night in tonight and make some cards. Tomorrow night we have our classes at the Normanby school hall. Friday Sketchers - Miss Anya!!

I have been sitting on this image for a while now.. it is one of the first times I played with and got hooked on copics (thanks to Denise and Viv!!), and I really liked how it turned out.

Anyhoo... here is my card for the Friday Sketchers challenge. I also made my own flower for a change!

I managed to keep my eyes open long enough to colour this image in for Stampin for the weekend challenge, we had to choose one of three songs, naturally I choose this 60's hit Please Mr Postman by the Marvelettes.

Back from the weekend

I'm back..... after a day of zoo, ten pin bowling (which I suck at), musem, swimming at the wave pool, Macca's and a movie, then sleeping in a strange bed... I am sitting here with headache through tiredness, so no cards tonight to show you.. will promise to get back into it tomorrow with catching up on challenges.

Sugar Bowl Challenge

Here is my take on the sketch over at the Sugar Bowl and you also had to add "kraft" paper. Love the prima paper I used. and using blue in this girl turned out great...

I have done two posts today as I have a getaway wekend with hubby and kids, so no card making from me till Sunday night.

WOJ challenge

Here is my entry for WOJ challenge - paper piercing, I am starting to have a lot of fun doing my cards at the moment, after I decided that I had way to much paper for scrap booking so I needed to use some for my cards. This stamp is out of WOJ's new collection.

Kaboodle colour challenge

Here is a RAK image that I have coloured and added to this card. Coloured in with SU inks, not my wonderful new copics!!!.
It's freezing here at the moment even though the sky is blue, I havent done much in the way of scrapbooking and cards as its just too cold to come into my room... mmm might have to invest in a heater.

Sugar Bowl Challenge

I just whipped this card up yesterday so I could enjoy this sketch over at Sugar Bowl. I love these stamps, they would have to be on top of my favourite list.
On another bright note... I have broken the curse and my copics have finally arrived, so my lonely 8 are now enjoying having 30 odd friends in their case with them!!!

Digi Stamp

Hello, I'm back from the world of vampires.. and into my stamp room again. Just finished the last book feeling very tired from lack of sleep wanting to read all night!
This is card for Stampin for the weekend challenge, which called for us to use a digi stamp. Viv bought this image a while ago and she knidly let me nab it of her. I used my 8 only copics on him.... yes my big order still hasnt arrived!!! I am starting to wonder if I am jinxed!!

Decided I liked the colours so much that I would try my first Kwerner challenge. This boy and his puppy were a joy to colour.

Crafty Tart Challenge 5

This I have to admit I did at 5.30am yesterday and was finished by 6.00, so I could get kids out of bed, get to work, and take photo of it in the fading light before the deadline was up at midnight last night!!! Very quick and easy, although the accordion flowers did take a bit of patience!!!!

I have today off work, hopefully will get time to do some cards... if I can get my nose out of the third Twilight series when I get it!!! (took me one day... yesterday, to read the second book!!)

Stunned!!!!

I have one person who comments continuously on my blog (apart from Viv and Denise) who I wanted to send some stamped images to as a RAK to say thank you for all her kind comments.

Of course being the wonderful person she is she wanted to send images in return... so imagine my stunned shock when I arrived home from work today to find all this waiting for me!!!! And I must say her colouring on the card she sent along with this stash is amazing. So a big hug and thank you to you Jill. You have made my day knowing there is someone out there as special as you.

Stampin' for the Weekend

Wow, what great challenge, I loved the colours for the very first challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend. I am ashamed to admit I have no other cards at the moment to put on... I am so engrossed in The twilight series at the moment....(bloody Denise... first copics now yummy vampires).
Promise to tear myself away maybe tomorrow night.

Saturday Challenge

I found this challenge a joy... to use Bling.... I decided it would be a good excuse to be organized and do a card for Cameron's 10th birthday next month. ope she likes it, I am sure she will, shes very girly and loves things that sparkle.

News....Time for change.......

I have been thinking long and hard over the last month in which direction I am wanting to take my crafting in. Which brings me to my news that I will no longer be a Stampin' Up! demo, this is not bad news, as I leave South Taranaki in the more than capable and creative hands of Denise and Viv, who have asked me to contribute to their SU blog occasionally. While I have made many wonderful friends and contacts through SU, it is time for a change.
I have arranged for my name to be taken off the NZSU blog in a couple days time. I will still be very active in my crafting blog and if you would like to keep up with what I am up to, then become a follower.

Feeding Time - Layout

Finally can show you the layout I have done for Crafty Tart challenge no.4.
I love this page, it was so much fun to do, I added liquid pearls to the outside and blue stickles to the flowers.

Buttons!!!!!

I found this card extremly hard to do considering the sketch had buttons on it! But its done! Challenge is for A Spoon Full of Sugar. Stamp is Gorjuss Girl and paper is BG.

Rainy Days!

This was a fun card to do. I added crystal effect to umbrella and boots and added silver stickles to rain and puddle.

Sneak Peak

Here is a little sneak peak at a project that I am doing at the moment.

I found these cool suitcases from Spotlight and Kate from Crafty Tart kindly added in Basic Grey "Wassail" paper into my last order, which I have covered it with.

I still have a long way to go before I'm finished. It will be a work in progress I'm figuring, but will be well worth it in the end.

Will post a picture when embellishments added.

Quick and Simple

Here is a quick simple no fuss card I made in the weekend. It is the same colours for Saturday Crafter but was in a rush to colour it and went over the lines... this image was just about going to end up in the rubbish, but thought one of the girls can give it to a friend.
