The Stamping Boutique

Here's little Audrey from The Stamping Boutique that I have used on my card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge. I missed making cards while I was gone for a few days.. although it did take me a while to get back into it. I visited Lou on my way to Hawkes Bay... Man has she got a craft room to die for!! Would have liked more time to sit and look at all her goodies... but kids (and hubby) were keen to get to destination!!

Stationary project

At last, my project has an end to it!!! I have been working on this for the last few days, trying to get it finished before we go away on a little holiday.
It is filled with pad paper, cards, stamped images, and a chocolate fix!!

RAK

How lucky am I ??? Look what was waiting for me when I got home from work.
I was lucky enough to win a challenge at Just Christmas and Birthday Cards a couple weeks ago, and Karin decided to send this my way as a RAK.... Wow!!

Copic Creations - Ethnic skin tones

I am pumping the cards out today... just showing you this one card though. I have decided to play along with Copic Creations for the first time and do a image with ethnic tones. I used E11, E13 and E15 for the skin tones on this sweetie.
I always use E00 or E50 for my base, so this was a learning curve for me.
Well enough creating today. Will share a card with you tomorrow.. I'm off to get my butt kicked playing Buzz with Bee.... oh and yes Viv.. chair is destroyed, scrubbed, waxed, now off to get covered sometime this week.

I had such fun colouring in this image from Karens Doodles, even my girls want to have a go..sigh.. yep have to share my copics!

Second Post!!!

Decided to have a card afternoon.... this card is for Saturday Challenge who have a photo for inspiration. If you like the image I am using, it is from Sassy Cheryl's called "A load of cake". These digi images are seriously cute and whimsey.

I picked up this image from The Greeting Farm a few weeks ago and have only now just had the time to play. I followed the sketch over at JC&BC. I won last weeks sketch over there, which is a great way to start of the New Year.

Tokoyo Boy

I really really really struggle with male cards.... I mean what do you put on them??? This was the most masculine flower I could find LOL!!!
This card is for Dew Drops Challenge (image from Dew Drops Craftz) - lilac and purple. I love these images, they are amazing to colour in.
I also followed a sketch from Truly Scrumptious.

The Sugar Bowl

Today I have done a card with the new Sugar Nelli Digi image following the sketch and including Distressing for the Sugar Bowl Challenge.

I am slowly working my way through all my new images I have bought.... didn't realize I had such an addictive habit!!! LOL

Black, White plus one

This is my last week as Guest Designer for Anyone For Anya. The challenge is..... (excluding hair and skin) Use Black, White plus one other colour... which in my case lovely orange!

Bessie Lulu

How do you like my new stamp - Bessie Lulu from Stamping Bella... I have been buying so many digi's lately that it was great to get a parcel in the post with some new rubba! This card was made for The Character Cafe, and it was really a big challenge for me to only use one pattern paper, ribbon and buttons, but I hung in there and this is the finished result.

Copic Buzz - Red and Pink

Here is my first Copic Buzz card being on the DT. This weeks challenge is to use Red and Pink, it can be for any occasion. Here's the second bit of news I wanted to share. I have been asked to be a Guest Designer on Anyone For Anya?. This week the challenge is to use a charm, so head over there and give it a go, and see what the DT members have been doing.

2 in one day!

Yep, this is another card I have made today. Having a quiet day while hubby sleeping ready for night shift. So have made this card combining 2 challenges - First is for Basic Grey where you have to use a BG item (in this case paper) and take inspiration from a photo. And second challenge is for Saturday Challenge where I followed their sketch.

Summertime

This summery card was done using a Bildmalarnas stamp that's had little use since I got it! I love these stamps, so much to colour.
I followed the sketch over at Get Sketchy. They always have fab sketches to follow.

Paper Pleating

Yep, I sat down this morning and pleated paper! What fun, but time consuming and I must admit, well worth it. Over at Just Magnolia the challenge is to paper pleat. If you haven't done this before, no worries, head over there and they have a little tutorial.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - hearts

A rather simple card today. Have had to get myself a "DT Stamping calender" so I could put in my due dates for projects. Phew.. life just got a lot more busier.

Winter card

I mixed in a couple challenges for this card, firstly I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday.. and secondly of course is for Pollycraft Monday challenge (hence the Pollycraft image), which called for winter birthdays. Back to work tomorrow, bummer. Have enjoyed my time off, although not as much crafting as I hoped.

Exciting news to share

Hey everyone.... just wanting to share my great news for the beginning of the new year... I have been accepted onto the Copic Buzz team. I am still buzzing from it knowing how much talent is out there in the big wide world. So watch this space and come join in the challenges with me.

Green rabbit????

Yep, a green rabbit!!! I couldn't decide what colour to do this poor rabbit, so just stuck with the sketch and colour combo at Truly Scrumptious.
I am finally mastering the art of taking good photos, amazing... it's only taken me a few years!!
