Shhhh here that?? Yep it is silence. Managed to get rid of everyone, so they are out visiting while Im here creating.
Yep this would have to be the brightest card I have ever made! After having borrowed copics for the day, I have only managed this one card!! I did however in my defence, do another CT challenge.. which I cant show you until Friday... but I can tell you that I think it is pretty good and cant wait to share with you all.
Haven't attempted to try and scroll anything before... but I must admit it was fun!
Between myself and two others, we have a stash of stamps and do image swaps all the time... so now I have decided that I need to actually make some cards with these images!!! This is a Toodles and Binks stamp from Denise that I have used for the Colour Throwdown Challenge this week.
I love Webster pages.. I have just finished of a layout using "Your life, Beautiful" from Webster Pages and with the leftover made this card for A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge... using lace on your card. Yep I also love my challenges!! Feeling better today.. not 100% yet but getting there!
Quick post to show you this card. Home today with sinus and head cold. No crafting, just sleeping and keeping warm. This was based on a card sketch over at Friday Sketchers.
Well I am feeling a little worse for wear this morning, runny nose, sore throat, and the rest of the family aren't much better. Have to travel to NP with mum this morning... so as soon as we get back I think I might have to put my head down and keep warm. ..... on a plus side, weighed myself this morning....(been watching what Ive been eating to look nice in that bridesmaid dress)... 9kg lost... don't know where, but don't want it back!!
Yep I haven't had time lately to stamp... but managed to squeak this one in this morning before our Hawera community class we had today. What a neat bunch of ladies. Have just got home and unpacked, and seemed to developed a sore throat along the way.. so will have a quiet night in and hopefully stamp before I feel to rotten! This card is a sketch from Kaboodle.
Well this 2nd challenge had me thinking!!! "Packaging" so I used, Bubble wrap, string, sacking and cardboard.
Yes I am still here! I have had life get in the way and have been extremely busy from weddings, sickness (not the lovely Lou type!!) and preparing for a class at the community center in town. My DH decided to tell me when I got home from work that he was coughing up blood... why is it that when he has man flu he thinks hes dying but when hes coughing up blood hes fine??? Dah!!!! Anyway after alot of cursing, he went to the docs and he has bronchitis (sorry Trudi for bad spelling!!)
Well here are the photos many of you have asked for!!! One of the bride, Tash. Second one is me on the left (short one) and one of the other bridesmaids (there was three of us!) and lastly managed to sneak in a photo of me hubby and kids!! The weather stay overcast, which is great for photos. Had a great time, very tired today though so no stamping from this girl!!
One sleep to go. Had final fitting yesterday arvo (talk about last minute!), had spray tan last night along with other things. Today we are setting up the hall then getting our nails done... then the big day tomorrow!! And guess what.. hubby is sick!! Buggar!

Well today has been great... apart from the cold!!
I couldnt help but post this today... was going to leave it for a few days, but really pleased on the outcome. The challenge was to use pages from a book... so of I went to a second hand book store, think she was horrified when I told her I was going to rip out pages, antique them then burn them!!! Most of the items used are from Crafty Tart site.
Decided to give Friday Sketchers a go.. and inked up my Miss Anya stamp to go with it.
When this set came out, Sharlene said it reminded her of me and the type of images I colour in. Its very girly, the paper I have used is from the Bella Rose set, doesnt the pink checkers remind you of old fashioned table cloths?? Oh and this is going in the Secret Crafter challenge "brads or eyelets"
Decided to combine challenges this week with a sketch from WOJ and colours from Colour Throwdown. Had bridesmaid dress fitting yesterday in Np.... todays plans are back up to Np to buy girls an outfit each then hopefully home to do some crafting with my new stash of goodies.... yes I have been buying again!!! No wonder Im broke all the time!

This card I made a few days ago when it was cold grey and raining... have added glitter to the pool around their feet, and crystal effects to umbrella . Rachelle Anne Millar stamps would have to be up there on my top five list of greats at the moment. Also entering this card for A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge - Touchy Feely

Here is my first card I have done with Pink Cat Studio stamps "Enchanted Lily" The pearls were a free gift from Crafty Tart.
How cute is this!!! Had great fun colouring it and the glitter on the flower really stands out in real life.. This is for the Saturday Challenge "flowers" over at The Secret Crafter.
