Ok, so I know that I should have red, blue and white... but I figure this New Zealand girl can be excused for picking other colours. SO what's this weeks challenge at Sassy Cheryl's I here you ask... DISTRESSING.

I must admit I love the end result with this image Uncle Sam's Samantha".. she reminds me of Cat in the Hat!!! Very quirky.

One card 2 challenges

Hi peeps, I made this card tonight real quick for two challenges. First I followed a sketch at Truly Scrumptious and secondly joined in over at Saturday challenge - pink, green and flowers.

This lovely stamp is from Lily of the Valley sent to me by my bloggy pal Jill.

Cameron's Challenge card!!!

"Well if the younger sister can do it so can I!!!" This is Cameron's take on the sketch at Karens Doodles Kids challenge. One good thing about the girls joining in, is that I get to use up all my old paper, which gives me an excuse to buy more.. the bad thing is... they keep going for my Prima flowers~~~

Bailee's card entry

Yep, Bailee has made her second card for Karens Doodles Kids challenge. After explaining to her how to follow a sketch, I left her with my copics and did my own DT work... she did a pretty good job for a 7 year old!

On a ewwww note.. hubby just called out to me... went outside to see what all the yelling was about.. and Charlie (Burmese cat) our disgraced bird hunter who now wears a bell... was sitting next to a very big rat...ewwwwww... dead of course!! yuck yuck yuck!! He is now coming up to me to smooch and say "see mum... see what I caught!!!" What a good boy!!!I only hope there are no relatives of that dead rat hanging around!

Doodle Palace Guest Designer

I was lucky enough to be chosen as the guest designer over at Doodle Palace this week and have made up a sketch for you to follow for this weeks challenge.

Dee and Robyn were kind enough to put their Design Team last term, which was a big deal to me as it was my very first one I was on and gave me a taste of what design teams are all about... so its fair to say I have a soft spot for these ladies.

Wow, can you believe that we are on to challenge 4 over at Sassy Cheryls challenge blog??? Eskimo Kisses

I managed to put aside all my DT work tonight and join in a challenge over at JC&BC following a sketch by Karin.. who kindly sent me this image some time ago. I tried something different this time using my copics.. I went from dark to light, instead of using my lightest colour first... mmm not sure about it!!! I used my new paper Eskimo Kisses which I purchased from i{heart}papers.

Fancy Folds challenge

Over at Karen Doodles challenge this week we have the theme "Fancy Folds". Karen's got so many cute images it was hard to decide which one to use for my spring fold card, so I ended up using this little fellow called Flower Bear which is a freebie on PCP - Karen Doodles group.

How spoiled am I????

Look at all this lovely RAK for my birthday... you can imagine what I was like when I had a parcel waiting for me with Jill's name as the sender.... ! We send RAKs to each other a lot... but I think she's trying to out-do me with this lot of rubba!!!! BIG BLOGGY HUGS Jill... I am sure I am going to ink some of that rubba today!!!

Couple of cards to show you all today. First one is mine for Pollycraft Monday challenge - distressing, and I also followed a sketch over Inspirational Card Sketches.

Second card is one that Bailee made for Karen Doodles Kids challenge blog... Bee was all excited about joining in, as most days she is in my craft room with me using my copics!!! and who said kids under 12 shouldnt be using them???

MelJens designs!!!

Hi ho, another new digi shop has opened... Meljens designs. This is a freebie I downloaded and coloured in for the challenge sketch over at The Character Cafe. I am still finding my way around this new pc, so I havent uploaded anything lately apart from my Dt challenges...
I do love to keep updated daily if I can, I have some fab projects that I have been working on.. so watch this space!

Can you believe it, we are onto our second challenge already! I was amazed to see such a great bunch of cards made for our first challenge last week. I can see the floor!!!!

Yep, this is what happens when you do 6 hours cleaning!!!!, So this is where you can find me for about 2 hours every night! I have passed on a big box and a 20litre container full of all crafting supplies to my friend to take to one of the local kindys. I {love} my peg board full of prima flowers, although it doesnt look like I have much.. they are about 3 deep in packets. (I need to find some more hooks!)
Class night tonight with some local ladies... so will get heaps of colouring done!

Morning, thought I'd share this quick card I did last night for Delightful Sketch challenge, which in fact wasnt a sketch but a theme! Kid Theme! Have a great day... I know I will cause its Friday, then Monday is a public holiday here... whoo hoooo. three days off!!!
