Playing with Neva

Quick simple card today, and this is the last of my favorite MME Stella paper *sob*... oh well I guess it's a great excuse to get some more!

I have been on a digi buying spree lately... I don't know when I will ever get to play with half of them, but they are printed and ready to go anytime I wish to escape from the family! This lovely is called Neva.

How excited am I when Zoe asked me to be part of Make it Colourful DT. Only took me a milli second to answer. LOL, but oh the pressure, the team are all so super talented.. I'm going to have to step up me game! The challenge this fortnight that I will be joining for the very first time, is to add texture.

I wanted to sit Alyssa on grass, it is my first attempt to do grass like this, Not bad for my first time..ha.. got to start somewhere I guess.

Sassy Cheryl

Yep, well I tried to tidy my craft room today.. didn't happen, so went and got myself a few digis from different shops. This one is a new Sassy Cheryl image called Polly is a Perfect Angel. Isn't she cute and I noticed Cheryl has a few new images that are just as sweet. Anyhoo... I decided to go back to my old stomping ground and play along with the Sassy gals ...hi girls :-) , and their challenge where Dawn has created a sketch to follow and to "think pink".

Long weekend

Well its Sunday, weather on and off, just perfect for crafting! I'm off for a walk then wont feel so bad sitting in my craft room for the rest of the day!

Finally a Skogstokiga card!!

Man... have I been hoarding stamps!!!! I found this and a few other Skogstokiga stamps in my "stamp" draw (time for a clean up I think!!) I am going shopping for paper tomorrow, so just maybe I will have time to ink another one of these neglected stamps up!!!! (sorry Petra).

School holidays!

I should have known that when I took a day off work to be with the girls that I would be a taxi driver again!!! Here's a run down... 6.20am swim squad training, 7.30am pick up, 9.30 - drop both back at pools with friends (I swear Cameron has gills!), 1pm pick up... take out to lunch... then home....and just about to head out again....BUTTTTT I did manage to squeeze a card in.. and I followed a sketch to make it easier.

Playtime...again

What a beautiful spring day today. Out in the sun planting veges, kids off playing at friends...ahhhhh... then came back to earth with a thud when my eldest who's 12 said there was a bully at the park that was calling her fat ( this is a girl who swims 6 times a week... !!!!) and threatening to beat her up!!!!!... far out.. am I mad now!!! if I knew who this girl was she would have me to deal with!!!!. Bailee's card

Well here is Bee's card. I have a folder that I have printed out any digi I purchase and any stamps that I have bought are stamped on card just for Bailee to grab as she feels like without having to ask me to stamp or print of images for her.... so anyway... today I introduced her to art of following a sketch. Not bad for her first attempt at only 8.

Bailee here... I love making cards with my mum. I sometimes come in at night into mums craft room and make cards straight away.mum lets me use her ribbons and her flowers,paper and copics. mum gave me a hole set of images.

Quick n Easy

Well today has been pretty non productive in the creativity side. I grabbed Viv and we took off to Wanganui for the morning to meet up with Hastings Rubber Stamps doing make n takes etc using Marianne Design Dies. Bought some B plates and one has a bend in it that would make a camel happy! ... and a few other necessities. ... drove home and took girls to park.... got soaked with the black cloud... now in pjs, whipped up this card and Bee has a card for me to post for her shortly too..... she hasn't been in the craft room with me for weeks... and now my little crafter is back!!! yep, I had all weekend, no mojo, but at the last hour, made this card! Tonight would have been another good time to play, but its thundering and lightening outside and I am about to turn my PC off in case it gets fried, cook tea nad have an early night!
