High Hopes / SU

Sorry folks.. another high hopes stamp.. but I have managed to add a SU stamp... Simple Somethings (across the bottom) and of course as always all cardstock is done with SU card

High Hopes

Now, before my readers go into shock... yes I know that I have an exclusive SU blog.... but... my wonderful friend Lou saved me from boredom and sent me some stamped off cute High Hopes stamps. I have seen these on other SBS6 sister blogs and look great ...soooo I thought I would give it a crack and branch outside SU... just for a couple days until I get my new catty and order new SU stamp sets!!! I promise!!!!

My 8yr daughter also had a play... So for this afternoon I was in my craft room (with earplugs) .. 8yr old was in hers stamping...(music blasting) and 5yr old was in her room not stamping... just being louder...(music blasting in competition trying to get one up on her 8yr old sister... oh the harmony of it all..... poor neighbours!! Did I mention that hubby was trying to sleep... he has night shift tonight!

Birthday goodies

Hello all... I have been away for a couple of days for work in Hamilton... arrived back home to kisses and cuddles (from the children) of course they did want the pressie each that I picked up for them. (Yes I managed to get some shopping in amongst the training!!)
Anyway... imagine how great it was to come home dog tired and seeing a birthday card (handmade at that!!) from my good friend Trace M, (blue, burgandy and olive card), and 3 cards and stamped goodies from SBS6 sister/downline and all round great chick Lou. Thanks ladies.

Joani's Challenge

I made this card for Joani's challenge while I had half hour spare before I had to go to Jamies wedding.... Bride was beautiful, wedding was emotional, First time in a long time me and hubby got to have a night out without the kids. Yeehaa.

Bundle of Joy

Sorry I haven't been around lately, this weekend will be no different, with a wedding, stacking wood for winter, crisscross box class, ... thank goodness I have Taranaki Ann. off work, I might be able to have some me time and do some stamping or even attempt a scrapbook layout.
I made this a while ago, but just thought I would share it with you all for something to post!!!!

Here is another of my neglected stamp sets which collects dust from not being used. This Crisscross box uses Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss and Pixie Pink

Floral Background stamp

This would have to be one of my first flops!!! I had an idea, only had about 5 mins to do it... and this is the result!!! See I do have bad stamping days!!! LOL.
The general idea of stamping and embossing in copper was good, but the colors just don't do it for me.
On a brighter note... my great friend Lou is sending down some stamped images of stamps I haven't got... my poor mailman... stalker comes to mind....waiting for them to arrive!!!
