Exciting news and a thank you!

I have my nose out of joint today... my hubby has told me I spend to much time in my craft room and banned me from my beloved room!! Huh.. like that would happen... so to get my fix of that crafty smell I headed around to Denises (she could open a shop with the amount of goodies she has!!!) and spent an hour round there!....
Anyway.. onto the exciting news....Yep, you may have guessed from the image on my card that I am now on Wags n Whiskers DT. I adore these images, this is a digi image (you can also by in rubber) called Tiny Dancer. I was impressed when I printed her out, some digis I find don't print nice thick solid lines... but she printed out perfect. I cant wait to get to know my teamies and share some lovely images with you.
Also I would like to thank one of my close friends Lou ..(who by chance is also on the Wags n Whiskers team for a few months).. I rang her up yesterday arvo and told her my blog was boring and needed a makeover... a couple hours later it had life breathed back into it and look at the result... cool ah??? Thanks hun... your a sweetie.... starting stalking your mailman!!!

Angry Ballerina

I just had to get this image - Angry Ballerina by Kraftin' Kimmie, when I went online shopping at Debs Creations. It reminds me so much of my daughter who has dance exams coming up!!! I wanted to make her a box that I could fill with goodies and give to her on the day her results are given out.

Let's stump Sassy Cheryl!!!

The Sassy gals have been working behind the scenes to stump the boss. Sassy Cheryl claims that she can tell which design team member made a particular card by just looking at it. So, we are putting Sassy Cheryl to the test.

Want to play along? It's easy... just enter our challenge for this week. Use a Sassy Cheryl image and the challenge criteria "Thinking of you". Link up your post at our challenge page using Mr. Linky. Then take a look at Sassy Cheryl's guess... is she right? Or is she wrong? Just tell us what you think by leaving a comment on the challenge page..then you'll get an extra entry in our random draw this week if you've guessed right. To recap: participate in the challenge and get one entry... participate and guess correctly, get another entry.

The winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to Sassy Cheryl's shop! How cool is that?

So which Sassy Dt member's card have I got here???? Jump over to our challenge blog and have a go.

Winter Angel

This would have to be my favourite image from Karen's Doodles. Our challenge this week at Karen's Doodles Challenge Blog is "White on white". You pick any KD image, colour any colours, and everything else on your card has to be white! Great challenge I reckon!

Summer coming??

Looking at the garden today and the snowdrops are starting to flower... does that mean summer is coming?? It was a warmer day today, although it is 2.40pm now and that chill is starting to come back.
I played around with this card this morning and have decided to enter it in Sweet Stampin challenge - vintage. I have distressed edges to give it a more older feel.

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!!!

Isn't this a great image from the new Kraftin' Kimmie "Fairytale" range!
I have had terrible sinus problems for the last few days which has kept me away from the craft room while I have been running a temperature and feeling like a sledge hammer is stuck in my head.... BUT... I did manage to do this card last night. Deb from Debs Creations sent this beauty over for me to have a play with. You should head over and see the fantastic range of stamps and other product she has in her store.
I am entering this card into Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, which happens to ask for a card theme of Fairytales!!!

M4M - Colouring White

Today is my turn to give you some inspiration on our "colouring white objects" challenge over at Mad for Markers. I tend to colour any image I want to be white (like the skirt) with C0, C2, then I always add a hint of colour, like here I have added a tiny bit of B000 and R00 in some places on the skirt. I think it just adds a bit of depth to the image. Then to make it stand out even more I always use W0, 1 and 2 around edge of the image.
All week the girls have done a fab job of inspiring me.. I cant wait to see what the rest of the DT has for us to look at next week, and I ALWAYS look forward to seeing the creations all you readers enter for the challenge.
Hugs
Tracy
