Saturated Canary - Summer card!

Hello, back again with my second card using the lush new collection from Kaisercraft called Tropicana. As the name would suggest, a very tropical series of paper.. in fitting with out Kiwi summer at the moment... Yep it is hot outside!!!! which is why I have decided to come into the shade and share this!
Apart from using Tropicana paper I also used Tropical Collectablesstickles and copics to colour the Saturated Canary image Toes in the Sand (cant do that here.. we have black sand and it burns your feet when you run to the water!!)
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine where ever you may be.
Hugs
Tracy
PS... just taking a closer look at my colouring... she doesnt have a flat stomach like the S.Canary post before this one!!!

Artfull Crafts - Boxes & Tags

Hello, I'm back again to show you a couple of boxes I have been working on for my latest Artfull Crafts project. They both have a beautiful cup inside which I am giving to my daughter for boarding school next year. I ran out of Mod Podge so unfortunately the paper is held firmly in place with tape.

Here is a photo looking down on the gift set. The packaging was pretty plain looking when I bought them. I wish I had of taken a "before" photo to show you the difference.

And here is a close up of the tag. Just remember, for a more shabby look, you don't have to make a hole and thread the ribbon as a tie.... you can just staple the ribbon to the tag like I have done. Used in this project was paper and stickers from Simple Stories - Handmade Holiday
Hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created. There sure is a lot of inspiration for everyone on this blog Artfull Crafts has the most amazing Design Team.
Take care and happy crafting
xx Tracy

Make it Crafty - Non Traditional Christmas

Non Traditional Christmas Card

Hello, today I am sharing my latest project for Make it Crafty - Colouring inspiration. This time round I decided to challenge myself using non traditional Christmas colours for my Christmas card. Yellow is a colour group that I would normally stay clear off so I was pretty happy how she turned out, although I am in no hurry to repeat the experience LOL.
As you can see I used plenty of embellishments and even cut my own flags out… And below is a close up of my colouring.. (don’t look to hard)!
Media used:
Dress/Tights/Wings: Copics Y17, Y38, BG13, BG49 BG000- Prisma Yellowed Orange, Aquamarine, Light Aqua
Leaves: Copic YG17 – Prisma Dark green
Hair: Copic YR24, E37, E99 – Prisma Dark Umber
Skin: E50, E00, E21, R20
Chipboard:Spring Swing
