Faith Pocock - Easter house

                                                   Hello and welcome back Faith Pocock Fans!!

I have had so much fun doing these Easter projects!! Today is an Easter House that you can lift roof off and fill with Easter eggs from Faiths shop.

Pretty easy to place everything together - 4 sides and the base

This is everything that came with the set

I started with the picket fence and wanted a bit of texture so used coarse texture gel first before painting blue

Carrots were coloured with my copics

At this stage I wanted to check out what it looked like with the roof on before deciding what colour I wanted to paint it

Window and door frames blue also

Ok so now a bit of fun and layering, I painted the background in a light tan. Then bricks in slightly darker tone. Next I distressed edges and random places on walls and used a textured stamp to add interest... LOVE how this looks

Coloured all the flowers and butterflies using paint

Finally time to glue together

I added a few highlights with white gel pen. I am super happy with how this all has come together

Faith Pocock - Easter Shadow Box

                                                 Welcome back Faith Pocock Fans!!

As promised, here is another Easter project!! Today is an Easter Shadow Box from Faiths shop.

This was a little more fiddly than the bunnies but really worth it in the end

I found it easier to put the pieces in order from back to front

For the back piece, because I wanted a scene, I picked out some scrapbooking paper that had leaves on it. Then I made my way through the layers coloring in with copic markers so I could blend and shade colours

Here is all 4 together

I then glued onto the base plate, and clipped on the side pieces

Next I added the last piece that fits over the top

How neat is this!!! You can put a little fairy light in the back and it lights up at night

This project is so dimensional., be perfect for any little ones book shelf lit up at night

Faith Pocock - Easter Bunnies

                                                          Happy Sunday Faith Pocock Fans!!

With Easter around the corner, what better way to celebrate than a few Easter projects over the next few weeks. 

Today I have two sweet little bunnies to share  from Faiths shop. These are a really quick easy project for those little ones in your life

Below is one of the designs layed out. Further down this post you will see both finished

To me both designs had a clear "boy and girl" feel

So I painted all these pieces blue for the boy

Next I glued the base together with Art Glitter glue

Then placed the bunny on either side. Its that simple!!

These fit a kinder Surprise between the back and front perfectly

After repeating with the girl bunny, it was a matter of leaving how they were or adding a little decoration
