Old stamps!

I have a heap of stamps that hardly get used... I have decided to ink some of these up and the others will go in the for sale heap... I hate getting rid of stamps, but at least they might get the attention they deserve! Anyhow, here is one I have had stamped off for a while, so out comes my all time favourite BG paper Curio. Here are the following challenges this card is for
Sweet Stampin Challenge blog - followed their sketch
Crazy 4 Challenges - vintage/shabby
Basic Grey - Flowers
Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Morning card!

I have just made this card this morning while waiting for the girls to wake up. Poor Cameron didn't get home until 10.30 last night after getting caught by flooding up north and having roads blocked (under water). It was great to finally see her though after being away for a week.. and OMG she has grown!! Is that possible?? she is now eye to eye with me!!!!! scary!!!
Anyway, enough rambling, here is the card I did following this weeks Friday Sketcher's sketch. I have used my new digi from Di's Digi Downloads, isn't he sweet!

Play time!!!

I was lucky enough to have time out today to have a play with some much neglected images that have never been coloured. I had Amanda come in and play with my copics..(yep I am an enabler trying to get her hooked), so all in all, it was a very relaxing afternoon that went by all to fast. I managed to get a DT card done for next week and have done this card following a sketch over at The Stamping Bizaar using a Stamping Bizaar image.
Also I think this fits in with Magical Monday Challenge, using flowers.
Hope you are all have a great day like me!

Wags n Whiskers challenge

Another week has flown by and we are now at the end of the month! only 11 months till Christmas!!!! hehehe. I had heaps of fun doing this card, I loved having the free range of picking colours I wanted to use, not picking colours that match dp paper.
Over at Wags n Whiskers challenge blog we want you to do a white card, but the image can be coloured. The DT have done a stunning job once again and have heaps of inspiration for you to look at. I have used Lacey as my image today.

2 milestones!!!!

Yep... this is a milestone for me!!! My good friend Viv gave me her sewing machine that she no longer uses (she got a flash one now!)... and I finally got the nerve to go solo and use it!!! Anyone who knows me knows I DON'T SEW!!!!! and the second jaw dropper ...(and I hope Cheryl doesn't mind, cause I feel like I cheated), is I used a ready coloured image from her store!!! Yep no copics used here baby!!!! So for those who are new to the world of card making and want a image that is pre coloured.. Sassy Cheryl has heaps to choose from!!!
Any way.. onto the theme this week is "Love" over at Sassy Cheryls Challenge blog. So head on over...see what the DT have made, and join in!

Phone a friend

Button Bonanza is the theme this week at Karen's Doodles challenge blog. The image I used is Phone a friend. This card would be perfect for my 8yr old who has discovered the art of long long phone conversations on the phone to her friends whom she has seen all day at school!!!!! Grrrrrr.

Now.. I just wanted to say that this is my very last posting for Karen's Doodles DT. I have enjoyed it immensely. After serving 2 terms and 47 challenges later I have loved getting to know the super talented ladies on the DT and especially the lovely Sandy who is our team leader.
I feel the time is right to move on and I wish Karen and Sandy all the luck in bringing some new talent on board to showcase Karen's wonderful images.
