Faith Pocock - Fence for Senz

                                                       Good morning Faith Pocock Fans

I have a special project to show you that Faith asked me to do for Faith Pocock Studio stand at New Zealands Senz Paper craft Expo a few weeks ago

I jumped ta the chance to do something different for Faith - normally I do storage, but this is something that I would put on my wall in the craft room and stare at while I procrastinate!

Below is how it arrived in the post all neatly packaged along with some paper from Imagine If called Forest Glade and a tag sheet that had ephemera that I could cut and use

I glued fence with Art Glitter glue and painted with Gesso

Then ripped elements from the tissue Faith sent me and Mod Podge on

Next I used a stencil to add texture and a pallet knife to add gritty texture paste

This where is got a bit messy - with my finger I added a green paint of choice - heavier around the edges

And then another darker almost brown paint to add a few more highlights and darken the edges

Repeated these steps with all panels

I did the same process on the hearts and added fussy cut elements to finish off

If you went to Senz I hope you seen this project - it was an honor to be asked and have my work on display

Until next time

Bee Arty - Celebrate

                                                                Hello Bee Arty Friends

Do you throw away your scraps? Im a hoarder... and even though I am running out of Bee Arty paper, I have made a quick easy card using up those pesky scraps laying around..

These strips are from the Trendsetter Collection

I picked out a white card base and managed to cut a piece of Trendsetter paper to layer on top

I stamped image using Perfect Petals stamp set onto the Trendsetter paper and then several times onto Bee Arty White card stock for layering

I don't know if I've mentioned it before , but the white card is amazing, copics blend beautifully on it, and holds water and doesn't rub when watercolouring. Its a definite thumbs up from me!

Back to the card.... I matched colour of paper with my copics and coloured the petals

Once cut out and distressed, I then layered petals for 3d effect

Finally I added to small strips and stamped Celebrate from Say It stamp set

Until next time

Faith Pocock - desk organisation

                                                       Good morning Faith Pocock Fans

So today I'm showing you an overview of my workspace and how I have used  Faith Pocock Studio MDF storage to tidy it up

Below is the Large Paper and Organizer Rack sitting on an old piece of furniture my pop used to use as a potato table in the garden house. Luckily my dad rescued and revived it!!

I use the 3 drawers to hold material in one, lace in the second, and old doilies in the third.

In the rack in each slot I put my journal projects, so they are there ready to grab

On my work desk from left to right..
6 Drawer Organiser and on top of that is the Dresser
Next to that I have an old Mongolian box that holds journal projects like tags to be finished
Next in line is Organiser and Drawer which holds all my brushes etc
Pen and Drawer holder is the last in that row

And finally on other side of PC is Letter Holder that holds the stamps that I use the most

As a crafter I wish I had of discovered these years ago. Every single one of these projects are so solid and functional. I cant wait to add to this collection as I have signed up for another 6 months on this wonderfully talented team

Until next time
