Faith Pocock Studio - Alice in Wonderland Clock + bonus extra project

Morning, today I have a fun quick project using a MDF clock and a bonus project to hold your                                                 stickles and Liquid Pearls in from Faith Pocock Studio.

In this set you get the clock background, the face and the mechanical hands.
I choose Stamperia Alice in Wonderland paper for this project

After gluing down the main background I then fussy cut elements from the paper pack that I wanted for around the edges for a bit of interest, I also traced around the inside of the clock face onto an image I wanted in the center of the clock and distressed around all edges.

For the clock face I stained with vintage photo distress ink to make it pop out, glued it in place then added the mechanical arms.

Because this project had about an hours drying time I decided to make this stickles holder
After assembling and gluing I painted with black chalk paint..... nothing to exciting... the stickles are the star of this project!

I have it placed within easy reach holding my sticklesand pearl drops.
Be warned!!!! Because this holds a amazing amount - 56 in total, you may find you will have to go out and buy more stickles to fill it!!!

Clearly I need to go shopping for more, I have to put extra bottles on top just to fill the space!

Until next time..

Bee Arty - King of the Cave

                                                                     Hello Bee Arty Fans

Im back again for my second post for Bee Arty using King of the Cave collection

OK, I am first to admit I struggle making cards for males... so this was taking me way out of my comfort zone. As I wanted to make 2 cards I choose two focal points - one was the stamp from this collection called Luck. Other I fussy cut the playing hand with cards from sheet called Play the Game

I sorted out matching cardstock to back the cards and stamped on the image straight onto patterned paper

Mounted all the cardstock together

For the stamped card I choose matching copic colours to the paper.
I went easy with the black ball as I still wanted the text to show through

Didn't over think this playing card hand, just gave it a bot of skin colour

Being male cards I distressed around the edges.
Until next time...

Faith Pocock Studio - Tudor House

Today I have a project I want to share using a tutor house from  Faith Pocock Studio.

As I haven't attempted a house from Faith before I lay out all the pieces on the table

I then glued the main part of the house together

Then the roof

I then started to paint. All the detailed pieces that go on the outside I painted black so they would stand out against a pail house

Next I covered the main body of building with gesso before painting in a
very light mint paint which needed 3 layers before I was happy.

Onto the roof! Now... I have seen one of my amazing fellow DT members use popsicle sticks cut up for the roof of these houses... me... noooo I'm way to lazy for that!
Out comes the round circle punch and distress ink!

I selected 4 different shades of plain cardstock and distressed around the edges

I'm thinking it turned out pretty good!

Finished project

But wait there's more!!!.... Faith gave me the idea to use it for all my cards I make..... which is perfect! I am a card maker by nature, I make them but never use them!!! so this house fits them all nice and neat.

I really enjoyed this project knowing that it would have an end purpose.... now... what should I make next ?
Until next time..

Bee Arty - Dream Big

 Hello Bee Arty Fans

Today I want to share with you a card I made using Follow your Dreams collection

Card making is my number 1 passion and always will be, but based on what mood I'm in, and how much time I have, dictates how "busy" I make a card
This card I wanted to keep simple and not over think it.

I selected a background from paper Embrace from Untangle collection and then fussy cut some feathers from Follow your Dreams collection ( I plan on making more cards from this cutout sheet)

I then mounted background paper onto cardstock hen onto card to make it nice and strong.
The feathers I matched the colours from the pages with copics

To add a bit of interest I added a foam dot under every second feather to raise it slightly

Hope your all having a great day... until next time..
